Shifted Hospitality Trade Discount Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
• Welcome to the Shifted Hospitality Trade Programme. This programme is designed to provide mutual benefits through trade discounts for employees working in the hospitality sector. By participating, venues agree to offer designated trade discounts to cardholders who are employees within the industry.
2. Eligibility and Participation
• To participate, venues must register with Shifted, agreeing to these terms and conditions.
• Each venue must provide the total number of staff employed at their location to receive an equivalent number of trade cards.
• Participation is voluntary and may be terminated by either party in accordance with these terms.
3. Trade Discount Commitment
• Participating venues agree to offer a trade discount as specified at the time of enrollment. The nature and percentage of the discount are at the discretion of the venue but must be consistent for all cardholders.
• Venues must clearly communicate any restrictions or conditions related to the discount to Shifted and directly to the cardholders.
4. Issuance of Trade Cards
• Trade cards will be issued by Shifted and distributed to venues based on the number of reported employees.
• Cards are to be handed to employees by the venue’s management.
5. Use of the Shifted App
• Employees are encouraged to sign up for the Shifted app, which provides an accessible view of all participating venues and the specifics of available trade discounts.
• By using the app, employees agree to the general terms of service of the Shifted platform, which govern the use of the app and any personal data shared.
6. Changes to Terms and Programme
• Shifted reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, including the benefits offered under the programme, with prior notice to all participating venues and registered employees.
• Continued participation in the programme following such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
7. Termination
• Venues can withdraw from the programme at any time by notifying Shifted in writing. Upon termination, all distributed trade cards must be returned or deactivated, and the venue must cease offering the trade discount.
• Shifted also reserves the right to terminate a venue’s participation if they fail to comply with the agreed terms or misuse the programme in any way.
8. Dispute Resolution
• Any disputes arising under these terms will be handled directly by Shifted’s customer service team. Efforts will be made to resolve disputes through negotiation and mediation.
