Workers
For help with your profile, right to work checks, applications, clock in and out, or pay, email us from the address on your Shifted account. Include the shift date and venue if your question is about a specific shift so we can look it up straight away.
Common questions are answered on the worker FAQ.
Venues
For help with posting shifts, applicants, invoices or your venue portal account, email us with your venue name. If you are not yet on Shifted and want to talk about staffing, see the venues page or email us directly.
Delete your account
You can ask us to delete your Shifted account and the personal data we hold about you at any time. This applies to worker accounts created in the Shifted app and to venue accounts created in the venue portal.
How to request deletion
- Email admin@shiftedapp.co.uk with the subject line "Account deletion request".
- Send it from the email address registered to your Shifted account so we can confirm the request is yours. If you no longer have access to that address, tell us and we will verify your identity another way.
- We will confirm receipt, then delete your account and let you know once it is done.
What is deleted
- Your login and account
- Your profile, including name, contact details, date of birth, photo, skills and availability
- Right to work documents and references you uploaded
- Location data and device or notification identifiers
- Applications, saved preferences and messages
What we keep, and for how long
We keep a minimal record of completed shifts, payments and invoices for as long as the law requires, which for UK tax and accounting records is up to six years. These records are kept only for legal, accounting and dispute purposes and are no longer linked to a live account. Everything else is removed within 30 days of your request.
Deleting your account does not affect any pay you are still owed. Shifts already worked will be paid as normal.
If you only want to stop using Shifted for a while, you can delete the app without deleting your account and sign back in later. Your data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
